The National Champ Comes To Visit!

Six-time North American Bike Trials Champion Jeff Anderson came to Portland for a visit! He's officially the first elite trials rider to ever visit the Shred Spot, and he set the bar - no question. Watching him use my biggest box as a "warm up" was an absolute treat, and he pulled some things together - like the balance beam and four-foot box - that I didn't expect.

After a solid warm-up at the Shred Spot, we cruised down to my favorite mototrials riding spot for an outdoor session. Even with the 100-degree heat, Jeff rode some massive lines and opened my mind up to some new sections that I'm definitely going to attempt on my next visit to that spot.
