Day 6: Skills Challenge

Pedal pressure plays a huge role in balance and power on the bike, and today we're going to see what happens when we unweight the bike and simultaneously add pedal pressure! This particular move can be super helpful on slow speed technical MTB trails, but it will also power some other moves later in the challenge. If you can get this figured out, you are in great shape! Really try to get a feel for easing off your brake while you add more pressure to the pedals - that's the key. If you start to feel a little sketchy, just grab the back brake and let your front wheel drop.
